This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from the Site.
1. Personal Information We Collect When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies installed on your device. As you browse, we collect information about the pages or products you view, the websites or search terms that referred you to the Site, and how you interact with the Site (“Device Information”). We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
• “Cookies” — data files placed on your device that often include an anonymous unique identifier (see our Cookie Policy for details); • “Log files” — which track actions on the Site and collect data such as IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps; • “Web beacons”, “tags” and “pixels” — electronic files used to record how you browse the Site. When you make (or attempt to make) a purchase, we collect your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information, email address, and phone number (“Order Information”). In this Privacy Policy, “Personal Information” means both Device Information and Order Information.
2. How We Use Your Personal Information We use Order Information to fulfill orders placed through the Site (including processing payment, arranging shipping, and providing invoices and order confirmations), and additionally to:
• Communicate with you about your order and respond to customer-service requests; • Screen orders for potential risk or fraud; • Provide you — in line with the preferences you have shared with us — with information or advertising relating to our products or services. We use Device Information to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address) and, more generally, to improve and optimize the Site (for example, by generating analytics about how customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing campaigns).
3. Sharing Your Personal Information We share your Personal Information with third-party service providers who help us operate the Site and serve you. For example: we use Shopify to power our online store (https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy); we use Google Analytics to understand how customers use the Site (https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/; opt out at
https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout); and we use third-party payment processors, shipping carriers, and fulfillment/warehouse partners to process and deliver your orders. We do not store your full credit card information; it is processed and stored by our payment service providers.
We may also disclose Personal Information within our corporate group (including our parent company and the brand owner, UNICSKIN S.L., located in Spain) for the purposes described in this policy; to comply with applicable laws and regulations; to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information we receive; or to otherwise protect our rights. We do not sell your Personal Information to third parties for monetary consideration.
4. Behavioral Advertising We use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you.
